Formerly a Victorian era piano factory and subsequently commercial office space, CDS were involved in the planning, design and construction delivery of the refurbishment of the existing building with an additional 3 storey extension and 4 storey extension to the rear. The upper storeys provide new 3 and 4 bed accommodation with the benefit of exposed brickwork, high ceilings and large windows intrinsic to the Victorian industrial design. The commercial office space at ground and lower ground level creates a mix of uses that promotes increased activity at street level. There is a private gym / screen room /pool and spa facility which greatly enhances the existing residential use. All aspects of the refurbishment and build have been bespoke designed by CDS in close partnership with the Client.
