In partnership with Squire and Partners who achieved planning approval for a new student residence adjacent to Hangar Lane underground station to regenerate an underused brownfield site within the Hangar Lane gyratory to provide student accommodation alongside new public and private green spaces. The building height will range from 7 to 13 storeys containing 500+ student accommodation units with additional facilities including classrooms, study areas, social spaces, a bike store, a gymnasium and retail units for students and the local community. The aesthetics are influenced by the Art Deco heritage inherent in the local area. CDS are tasked with the detail design and construction packages and site / contractor coordination for the delivery of the scheme with the target of opening in Autumn 2020.
